June 11-12 three members (Bob Robinson, Barb Robinson, and Ken Shaw) were at the Little Finger Thermaleers club field at Maple City, MI for the annual Early Summer Soar-In.  Barb Robinson was Contest Director of the two day event; Bob Robinson took two second place trophies in Unlimited class (windspan of over 100”) and Ken Shaw took two second places in RES (Rudder-Elevator-Spoiler) and a third place in ALES (Electric sailplane).
